BREAKING NEWS: Coroner New arrested for suspected DUI

PINE KNOT — The McCreary County Record has learned that Brandon New, 26, of Stearns was arrested Tuesday evening following a traffic stop on US 27 just north of Cal Hill Road.

New serves as McCreary County Coroner. The citation filed by Kentucky State Trooper Jason Browning indicates he has been charged with Failure To or Improper Signal; Careless Driving; and Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs/ETC, 1st offense.
