Record Welcomes New Sports Editor

Record Staff Report

As you may well know from last week's issue Don Perry has left the building so to speak. After serving The McCreary County Record as sports editor for the past couple of years Mr. Perry has moved on and will no doubt soon have his views and comments in print in yet another state.

As for this publication though a familiar face returns to cover the sports scene. Chris Hollis who covered local sports from the mid-90’s until 2004 is back and coming, with camera in hand, to a basketball court near you (not just basketball of course).

While concentrating mainly on high school varsity competition Chris will also be trying to “cover the bases” as well with elementary and middle school sports, summer activities like little league and girls softball and maybe a monster truck race thrown into the mix.

If you would like to make a comment about The Records Sports Page email Chris at news@mccrearyrecord.com
