Boy Scout Troop 69 at Stearns about 1943

Troop 69 was named for the Fighting 69th Division in WWI, mostly made up of Irish from NY. They met at the old Community Church. Joe Murphy Sr. was the Scout Master and Clarence (Porky) Orme, in the picture, was the assistant. Pictured from left is Sonny Gregory, unknown, the next are believed to be a Wheeldon, Couch, and Hamond. John Sullivan stands next Mr. Orme, he is the brother of Wallace B. Sullivan, MD, of Pueblo, CO, who submitted the photo.
