Lewis and Emma (Bryant) Perkins on their wedding day

This tintype photo was taken in Monticello, KY on Lewis and Emma Perkins’ wedding day in 1898. The couple was from this area and remained in the area all their lives; living in Marshes Siding and Whitley City.; Lewis and Emma were the parents of nine children: Arthur; Bertha; Luther; Laura; Flora; Tommy; Mossie; Ernest and Mildred.
