Aleen D. Calloway

— Aleen D. Calloway (Mrs. William H.) - Passed away on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 2:55 p.m. at a local hospital. She was a native of Stearns, KY, but a resident of Mobile since 1940.
Her career included employment with the U.S. Corps of Engineers, Brookley Air Force Base and the Mobile County School Board. She retired from W.P. Davidson High School in 1987. She and her husband, Bill were active in the Mobile Square Dance movement for many years acting as Festival Chairmen on two occasions in 1965 and 1975.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph H. and Ellen Creekmore Dupuy; sisters, Patsy and Katie; brothers, James Michael, A. G. "Buddy" and Harold Dupuy.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, William "Bill" Calloway; her daughter, Kay C. Mikkelsen; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 12:00 Noon. Interment was in in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
