Joseph “Joe” Koger, age 44 years, 7 months, and 30 days, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Saturday, May 3, 2008 at his home.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Gene Wells officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Knot Cemetery.

Joe was born on September 4, 1963 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Earl Koger and Kathryn Sharp Koger. He attended the Science Hill Nazarene Church and ran his own Lawn Service Business. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and wave runners.

Survivors include his parents, Earl and Kathryn Koger, of Somerset, Kentucky, three brothers, Danny Koger, of Bethel, Ohio, Steve Koger and his wife, Denise, of Milford, Ohio, and Greg Koger, of Walton, Kentucky, three sisters, Mary Chesson and her husband, Jack, of Tampa, Florida, Sherry Wilkerson, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Jenny Allen and her husband, Eric, of Goshen, Ohio, and thirteen nieces and nephews.
