Darrel Tucker

Darrel Tucker, age 48 years, of Marshes Siding, Kentucky died August 26, 2008 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Funeral services were held at 1:00PM Friday August 29, 2008 at the First Hickory Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie King officiating.

He was born at Marshes Siding, Kentucky on May 17, 1960 the son of the late Ancil “Peanut” and Shirley Locke Tucker. He was a coal miner, folder at the tent factory, and a member of Day Ridge United Baptist Church.

His parents precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife Stephanie Basham Tucker of Marshes Siding, Kentucky, son Aaron Tucker and wife Lisa of Pioneer, Tennessee, daughters Shelley Duncan and husband Tim of Strunk, Kentucky and Emily Tucker of Marshes Siding, Kentucky, brother David Tucker and wife Michele of Whitley City, Kentucky, and sisters Donna Waters and husband Delynn of Revelo, Kentucky and Debbie Conaster of Whitley City, Kentucky. Four Grandchildren and a step grandchild also survive.
