Doris Dobbs

— Doris Dobbs, age 70 years, 8 months, and 6 days, of Stearns, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at her home.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Estil Jones and Bro. George Allen Coffey officiating. Burial followed in the Dobbs Family Cemetery.
She was born February 2, 1938 in McCreary County, Kentucky to Sherdie Dobbs and Mattie Phillips Dobbs. She was a homemaker and member of the Cedar Grove United Baptist Church since 1973. She enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, Willard, Leslie, and Carl Dobbs, and a sister, Kathaleen Dobbs and her husband, Austin Dobbs.
Survivors include four brothers, Estil Dobbs , Dester Dobbs and his wife, Wilma Jean, Donald Dobbs and his wife, Connie Sue, and Stanley Dobbs, all of Stearns, Kentucky, a sister, Betty Lee Jones and her husband, Leamon, of Stearns, and several nieces and nephews and many friends.
