Emery Orszag

— Emery Orszag, age 91, of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed away Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
In keeping with Mr. Orszag’s wishes his body will be cremated. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
He was born on October 28, 1916 in Cleveland, Ohio to John Orszag and Mary Simon Orszag. He served in the US Navy were he retired after 20 years of service and was a member of the Somerset Lutheran Church. He moved from Chicago to McCreary County in 1989. Emery enjoyed fishing, traveling, gardening, and his travels to China and Australia.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, Louise Orszag, and two brothers, Steve Orszag and John Orszag.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Agnes Wind, of Cable, Ohio, and Margaret Louise Bernard, of Owego, New York, six grandchildren, Tamara, Bryan, Sarah, Emily, Polly, and Hetty, and seven great grandchildren.
