10th annual Relay For Life Elvis Show is Sunday

STEARNS — Get your fix before Elvis leaves the building.

The 10th annual Relay for Life Elvis Show will be held Sunday, June 8, at 3:00 p.m. in the McCreary Central High School Auditorium.

Since 2005, Larry “Lucky Dog” Davis has been performing as The King of Rock and Roll to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society.

Davis was inspired to do the show after one of his high school classmates started taking treatments. Both of his grandfathers died from the disease, and his father is a survivor.

But after 10 years, Davis has decided to hang up his Blue Suede Shoes.

“Ten is a good number to go out on,” Davis said, “and I don’t want to overstay my welcome.”

As always, Davis will be backed with live music from Neon Country.

Admission is $5.00 and concessions will be sold with all proceeds benefiting the local Relay for Life.
